Owner and Head Coach for Lady Stangs Black 17u

COACH TAYLOR BOAZ

This is my 11th year coaching select basketball. 6th year coaching for the Lady Stangs. I played select basketball in high school and I would have never fulfilled my dream as a college basketball player unless it was for select basketball. I played at Midwestern State University in 2011-2015. My passion is helping young girls fulfill their dreams of playing at the next level or bettering their game just like select did for me as a young girl.

This will be my eighth year coaching AAU basketball. I played basketball at Midwestern State with Coach Taylor. My passion is working with the youth and helping them grow and love the game while also teaching life lessons that will live with them past their playing days.

COACH BAILEY HENDERSON

As a former member of Lady Stangs Basketball I am so excited to contribute to helping coach this summer! I graduated from Van Alstyne High School last May and am currently attending Grayson College. Next fall I plan on transferring to Texas A&M Commerce to obtain my bachelor’s degree in early education. I love all things basketball and can’t wait to have a wonderful season!

COACH NICHELLE CURTIS

This is my first year coaching with the Lady Stangs and I’m so excited to be helping this summer! I have been coaching middle school sports for the last two years and have gained valuable experience. I am looking forward to this season to improve my basketball coaching skills. I am a Texas A&M graduate and have been teaching for the last 4 years. I love watching kids succeed in the things they love doing and being a part of their growth. Let’s have a great season!
